Interviews & Articles
Over the years, I’ve been interviewed many times about my photography and have written quite a few articles on photography techniques, post-processing, and the creative side of making images. I’ve included a few of them below.
If you want to become a successful photographer, the most important thing is passion. Keep pushing yourself every day. Read often. Watch videos. Take classes and workshops. Know your camera and gear inside out and become strong at post-processing. Most importantly, never stop experimenting and always try new things.
Trying new things and thinking outside the box is a big part of growing as a photographer.

Although the landscape, temples and monasteries are a photographer’s paradise, for me it’s really the people that make this country so special.

Imagination is More Important than Knowledge
I will never forget those words underneath Einstein’s picture on a huge black and white poster on my bedroom wall. I was about 10 years old and Albert Einstein was my hero. At a young age, inspiration may be in short supply, but those words from his amazing mind have somehow always stayed with me. Imagination IS more important than knowledge. Yes it is!

A pretty cool interview about travel photography but with a real focus on my travels to my favorite country Burma. A pretty in depth article.
Studying the types of images that sell… Is what you need to do to be successful and it’s all about preparation for me. When timing and creativity collide….. Then anything is possible so you always have to be prepared!
An article by Gura Gear when they interviewed me during Covid when we all were not doing much traveling and shooting. Wanted to share how to be productive and creative while being stuck indoors for so long.
