  • GEAR LISTI have used Canon cameras since the early 90's after using Nikon's since I was about 13 years old. I love the feel and design of Canon....but it is really the photographer....not the gear that creates the images. You can take amazing images with a disposable camera as long as you have a little talent, desire and creativity. The following items are my gear list although it constantly changes:Canon R5Canon 5D Mark lVCanon 5D mark II Infra Red converted500 f4 EF100-500 RF15-35 RF24-105 RF70-200 f2.811-24 f/416-35 f/2.8 III16-35 IS f/450, 65 & 100IS macro15 f2.8 fisheye50 f1.41.4 tele extenderCanon remote release cable and IntervalometerCanon Extension TubesCanon 600 speedlights & wireless transmitterBreakthrough Filters • Polarizers and ND filters!! • A long, long time ago.....in a galaxy far, far away..... two ingenious and remarkable men came up with the idea for helping others plan and create better photography.Although they were Mensas, it was not their brilliance that was needed. It was their unique vision. Yes....they were Visionaries. This is the true back story about PhotoPills*** Before you play the video... • This video was shot by my friend Lisa Bettany, who helped design my favorte phone app, Camera Plus, while we were at the Aperture/Nature Photography Workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I was teaching the students how to capture panos at Oxbow Bend one morning while Lisa made a video of it.This was long ago...so much has changed!!A review of Scott’s tips for taking a panoramic:Shoot in vertical...Not horizontal like in the video!!Use a solid & level tripodCheck to make sure your entire shot is level and all your subject is in your frame.Try and use a pano head if possible and also a nodal slideShoot on Manual so that all your settings stay constantUse a cable releaseOverlap each shot from 40-50%Stitch photos in post
  • I absolutely love the quality and look of Acryllic prints and Canvas on Demand asked if they could use some of my images to test out their new acryllic prcoess. The images they sent me are off the wall GORGEOUS and have spoiled me forever.
  • A viedo that I made in collaboration with Chris Spheeris
  • Software:I am a beta tester for many Photoshop plugins and other software. I wrote a book on the best plugins for Photoshop called {quote}The Digital Photographer's New Guide to Photoshop Plugins {quote}and use I good plugins for much of my work as some of them are absolutely amazing.
